LVDA's Adult Team

In 2008 the Virginia Dressage Association will be hosting the adult team competition at the:

Commonwealth Park
Culpepper, VA
August 2nd and 3rd

Kendra Hall of Graystone Equestrian Center has been selected to be the team coach for the 2008 competition.

What is the LVDA Adult Team?

Each year a General Membership Organization, (GMO), in USDF Region 1 holds a Team competition and all GMOs of that region are welcome to send teams from their association to compete. It is open to ALL levels of competition from Introductory to FEI.

In 2005, LVDA sent a Training level team. The competition was held in Leesburg VA. It was a great success and the team finished third in their division.

In 2006 the competition was once again held at Morven Park and LVDA sent two teams, one training level and one first level, to the competition. Funds were raised to help support this venture and both teams did extremely well.

The LVDA Adult Team Committee will be raising money to send the team(s) to the Region 1 Competition through the following activities:

  • Kathy Adams Clinic April 19th and 20th. See LVDA's March Newsletter for entry form and auditor information.
  • Tack Swap April 12th at the Northampton County 4H Center, Bushkill Center Rd., Nazareth, PA. To donate unwanted tack or any horse-related items, contact Amy Mende at 610.756.3394
  • Food sales at LVDA's schooling shows. To donate food contact, Gail Carpency at 610.837.7889
  • Open auction at the LVDA Recognized Show. To donate auction items, contact Sharon Rinkebach-Grauer at 610.233.5323
