Learn a bit more about bits Tuesday, February 7 The next LVDA lecture will be on bits and bitting, featauring Ronni Blasz (pictured right) of Skylands Saddlery.
A graduate of SUNY-Albany and NYU, Ronni started her adult career at Merrill-Lynch in NYC. After more than ten years in the financial industry, she left it all behind to focus on her small business, Skylands Saddlery in Ringoes, New Jersey. Skylands is a dressage-focused show, and Ronni is a certified saddle fitter and dressage rider. MARCH LECTURE: On March 14, LVDA is co-hosting a day-long scoring/scribing workshop with French Creek Dressage Association. Elsie Kellerman, S judge, will present. as a judge.
An FEI judge since 1985, Linda is also an authority on the development of the freestyle, a respected clinician, instructor, show organizer and FEI Technical Delegate. She has been in leadership roles on many committees of USDF, USEF and the FEI including FEI Dressage Committee and USEF's International Disciplines Committee, License Officials Committee, Hearing Committee, Owners Committee, Chairman-Dressage Committee, and Board Member. As an “O” ( FEI 5*) dressage judge, she has judged the Atlanta Olympic Games; Winnipeg Pan American Games; World Equestrian Games in Rome, Aachen and Lexington; 8 World Cup Finals and has judged in over 20 countries. Nancy Krial and her mare Phlyer won the USDF Master's Challenge Award for Third Level; they were 4th in the Vintage Cup KWPN All Breeds Award and 7th in the Adult Amateur standing for KWPN All Breeds.
